This specialist is the EZO company from the country of the rising sun. From the country where precision and the emphasis on quality have been handed down from generation to generation for centuries, starting with the ancient masters. Thanks to that, and more as well, today EZO miniature bearings are famous and well-known around the globe. For example, when you mention EZO at any RC model-makers' meeting, it is the same as mentioning sushi among cooks. In short, everyone knows immediately what it is all about.

EZO's headquarters are located in the north of Japan, no far from the capital of the island of Hokkaido.

Over the Years…

The company was established in 1969 in the town of Ashibetsu on the island of Hokkaido by Mr Eiichi Kobayashi. Since he approached his craft in an honest manner, the high-quality bearings from his workshops shortly gained fame near and far. As early as in 1977 he exported the first batch of his products to be sold in Europe and the US.

The company saw a gratifying growth and expansion and by 1981 built a new main factory and broadened its scope to produce precision steel balls as well as larger bearings. Another milestone in the history of EZO was the start of assembly of above-mentioned miniature bearings with the bore diameter designed to accommodate a miniature shaft 0.6mm. Today, the parent factory in Ashibetsu covers the area of 13 football pitches and its assembly halls fill almost the whole trading estate there.

Thanks to well considered long-term investments in modernisation and development, as well as in the protection of the environment and satisfaction of the employees, the EZO brand has worked its way up to become the world's leader in the production of miniature bearings. Strict Precision

At the moment, the company's state-of-the-art automatic lines produce 12 million EZO bearings per month and 75 out of every 100 sold miniature bearings all around the globe are products of EZO, ranging from the bore diameter accommodating shafts of 0.6mm to 90mm.

All the bearing types are made of vacuum degassed high carbon chromium steel, as well as stainless steel. The miniature bearings are produced by advanced machines capable of maintaining submicronic precision of processed materials. For this, the company received several top quality standard certificates in the world, for example the extremely exacting ISO/TS 16949.
